Artist's Comments

Human life itself may be almost pure chaos, but the work of the artist is to take these handfuls of confusion and disparate things, things that seem to be irreconcilable, and put them together in a frame to give them some kind of shape and meaning.
- Katherine Anne Porter

Pure Chaos by =TWENTY4e - What made me love this piece is that at first it looks like it was painted. The color choices are wonderfully chosen. Blending in both harmony and contradictions. It has a regal look about it and at the same time it seems to appear to be a living thing. Conceptually speaking, there are many things going on here that give it that edge over other more standard fractals. Like the look of it being a living thing. The colors and execution of the piece again, give it that painted look. Not to mention the intersections look like eyes. Spooky huh? (Suggested by =Sgtgrandpa and Featured by `lyastri)

You've taken me by suprise here, feels so different from your past submissions. A bold step! Keep walking down this path for a while ;) I really like the earthly feel to this.

Oh wow! It looks like muscles running into each other. Love the color choices.

Just wanted to do something different for a change. I have been working with Apophysis for a while now but never had the courage to post anything. In fact, I think I have something close to 30 or so flames, still unsure about their "quality". Thanks! Maybe I will! Though I wish Apo would have the "pause" render ability of UF. Tried to render for print and had to give up since, unfortunately, I can't let my computer on at night. :(

Cool :) Well, if you like... tell me what version of Apophysis you're using along with rendering instructions (not sure if you should trust me working it out for myself ;)) and I'll render it on my computer overnight instead. Least I can do for such a friend after all

:aww: Thank you! Are you sure? Apophysis can make the computer pretty slow sometimes and I really wouldn't want you to have any problem in case you need to use it.
